Welcome to my website! This serves as a basic repository for my interests, hobbies, and experience.
I am an Electrical and Computer Engineering student at the University of Texas at Austin. I grew up in a suburb in between Houston and Galveston called Friendswood with my mom, step-family, and my dog, Rex. In this section I have a couple of pictures that give a little more insight into who I am!
This is a picture of me and other members of my Professional Engineering Fraternity, Texas Theta Tau. Through my time in Theta Tau I have held a few leadership positions, including being the recruitment chair for spring 2024. Theta Tau has helped me grow both professionally and socially in an engineering context.
This is a picture of me and my mom at the UT "Ring Ceremony" when I got my class ring.
Within Advantest, I was a part of the artificial intelligence code generation team. I Created a Python script to compare the similarity of two Java files using Jaccard Similarity in order to delete highly similar or duplicate files. This helped with increasing AI training efficiency by limiting over-representation of data and reducing the time required for fine-tuning.
This upcoming summer I will be working for Paylocity as a Software Engineering Intern.
One of my favorite ways to stay active is playing volleyball. I participate in indoor and sand volleyball intramurals here at UT!
Along with playing volleyball, I also enjoy going to watch the UT volleyball games. This past season I went to Tampa Bay to watch them win the National Championship, which is where this picture was taken.
